today.... is the LAST DAY of the holidays!!!!! the last!
What am i going to do!!!!!!!!!!!!
no more freedom or late mornings in! i hav to wake up at 6am!!!!!!!
today i woke up at 10:20!
it was so nice... seen as i went to bed at 2am!
BuT!
tomorro morning!
wake up before the sun
walk down the driveway, still sleeping!
30 minute cardrive
and then be at school at 7:30
work till 2:30
come home
do more work
(physichem, art essay, maths.. most probly)
and all that just to wake up at 6:30 the next day to do it all again!
thursays tho..... thursdays is archery!
i LOVE my archery!
and now a bunch of more of more friends are also joining archery!
at first it was anna and pia and i (& apparently jake), but that was a few years ago
this year: alex, chris and i.
this term i bleeve that ali and jake are joining
honestly didnt know ali liked that sort of thing..
jake keeps on saying that he wants to use his crossbow..

so.
last night we (taryn didnt go tho cos she was doing a silwood-dinner-project-party thing) went to the aldermans!!!
i got to like out the pudding bowl!
at the aldermans we ate souplikeness and then spaghetti bolognese (or spagbol, as jill calls it... for some very strange reason!)
and then we watches 50 first dates and then hidalgo!
ok
i got to meet Sarah's friendJulia i think
and two guys who were brothers... the oldest was 14
then dragged parents home at 1am, tearing them from their coffee!!!

and bleah to wine which taryn had to serve at her silwood thingy and the glasses are still on the table!

holidays are oh-so almost over and that just SUCKS!!!!!
parents got back from New York with sister yesterday's yesterday night......
woke me up in the middle of the night but i woudnt actually wake up.... they should know that by now....i know my friends do.......then half an hour later i sat up in bed and went to say hello.......
they got me stuff from america!!!!!!
some really cool pants from a 2nd hand shop that are ever-so-slightly too big but thats good cos they'll last me a looong time...... and they got me a Passion of the Christ necklace, has got the nail (miniature version) hanging on a piece of long leather.... so can wear it round my neck at school and teacher will never know!!!!!! haha! i like it more that a cross cos it means the same thing to me!
and then they gotsted me the lord of the rings: return of the king soundtrack!!!!!
wanted it for SO long!!!!!!

in english we are reading the book 1984 and laer in class will watch a movie that's quite simelar: equilibrium!
but i didnt feel like waiting cos i got really hooked on the book!!!!!!! so i watched this movie and in the first few minutes, who do i see? SEAN BEAN!!!!!!! i LOVE sean bean!!!!!!!!!!
but he d**s real soon in the movie which made me sad..... then i made my grandmother watch it and then she goes on to saying how hot Christian Bale is... MY GRANDMOTHER!!!
ah well........ she made me go on the internet to look him up and stuff!

the party was great

there were some blokes id never met before

Another year of torture... already the homework is piled sky high and only three days of school hav gone by!!!

1) English essay - for wensday
2) English oral - for wenday
3) Geography essay - for tuesday
4) Afrikaans mondeling (oral) - for tuesday
5) Art research - for monday

and im TIRED of it already!!!!

But something happened this year that could never hav expected! Not in a million years!!!
Sitting at break on thursdee Alex says "guys, this is Alex #2" and i look up and theres this person called Alex... we say hello, hows it going, i take her photo... and all the while im thinking "gosh, she looks familiar!"
about 5 minutes later we're talking to the new Alex when Anna says "kayla, she's Pants' sister." and i almost cracked my jaw on the floor!! She looks EXACTLY like Pants!!!!
I was in shock... Pants never said anything about his sister going to Reddam...
So when we're talking about Pants she laughing and being confused saying "why do you guys call him Pants???" Brydon told her the story..... will add it in some other time.... So now Alex Dundas is called Ali and Alex Tweedie is called Alex.... will still have to get her another name.....

wow! there was this big ol fire over the mnt from hout bay today!!!
actually.... i dont know how big it is but the smoke covered the whole of hout bay!!!!

went to the beach with the aldermans after my wax
i dont like the beach but it was fun,.....

then we went to Fish on the Rocks and that was nice
then we went to liana's ice dream
her fridge has broken but she got another one in the mean time..... it was still nice

How to Annoy Teachers

HA! i found it!
Bring a small cactus to class with you. Raise your hand, and when you're called on, say that the cactus has a question. Turn and look at the cactus, as if you're waiting for it to say something. After a few moments, shrug, and wait for your professor to move on. Do this once a day, and become increasingly irritated with the cactus every time, sighing heavily and giving it evil looks when it fails to "speak." When you leave the room after class, start yelling at the cactus, "I can't believe you embarrassed me AGAIN...."
Bring a vacuum to class. Halfway through class, stand up and start using it. If your professor objects, explain that you "can't stand sitting in this pigsty any longer." Keep vacuuming, grumbling angrily.
Brush your teeth during class. While doing so, raise your hand as if you have a question, and mumble your question incoherently while brushing, spewing toothpaste all over the place. If your professor objects to your actions, go on a tirade about proper oral hygiene.
Carve a bust of your professor out of cheese. Tie a ribbon around it, and present it to him/her at the beginning of class. Demand extra credit.
Come to class every day wearing scary Halloween masks. Try to get your professor to guess who you are. Shoot him/her with a water pistol, scream, and run around the room knocking things over. Say, "Pretty scary, huh?"
Come to class with a jar full of angry hornets. Five minutes into class, release the hornets, scream, and run away.
Dispute everything your professor says, no matter how simple. Try to get him/her to "prove" everything to you.
Rant and rave about what a big liar your professor is. Yell at students who are taking notes, saying, "Stop writing down all these lies!"
Draw hearts and flowers on the backs of your papers and tests. Next to them, write things like, "You're the best, even though you suck" and "You're the worst professor in the world, but I still love you."
Every time your professor stutters, do a shot. If he/she objects, explain that drinking games make the class more interesting.
Get a monkey, and bring it to class with you. Tell your professor that you've hired the monkey to take notes for you. Sit back and relax during class, letting the monkey scribble on a piece of paper. When it comes time to write a paper or take a test, write down things like, "I wish I had a banana" and "I miss my tire swing." Assuming you get a bad grade, angrily fire the monkey in front of your professor.
Get the whole class to show up a few minutes early, and throw a surprise party for your professor. Insist that you can't start class until he/she has a piece of cake. Keep asking people when the strippers are going to arrive. Hide somewhere inside the classroom. Wait for your professor to take attendance. Don't come out when he/she calls your name. Halfway through class, jump out and yell, "Just kidding! I'm here! Fooled you again!" Sit down and be quiet for the rest of class.
If you have an early morning class, get there before anyone else, and bring a pillow, some blankets, an air mattress, and an alarm clock. Wear your pajamas. Lie down on the air mattress with the pillow and the blankets and act like you're asleep. Have the alarm set for about two minutes into class. When it goes off, preferably very loudly, hit the "snooze" button and go back to sleep. Keep doing so for the duration of the class.
Instead of taking notes, do an abstract painting during every class. Call the paintings things like, "Professor Acting Like Mr. Know-It-All" or "Idiot Who Doesn't Know What The Hell He's Talking About." Give the paintings to your professor as gifts.
Keep "accidentally" setting fires at your desk. Burn notebooks, papers, or whatever you have handy. Whenever you start a fire, no matter how small it is, start yelling, "Fire! Fire!" and run out of the room in a panic. Don't return for the rest of class.
Show up to class about ten minutes late. Ride into the room on a bicycle, yell, "Look out!" and crash into the blackboard. Get up, take a seat, and act like nothing happened. Do this every day.
Sit way at the back of the room, up against the wall, to get as far away from your professor as possible. While he/she is lecturing, shout out things like, "What!?" and "Speak up! You're mumbling!" If your professor advises you to sit closer to the front, tell him/her you can't because you're scouting the room for "assassins."
Start asking questions in a fake foreign language. Act like your professor is stupid for not being able to understand you. Get other people in the class to start speaking the fake language too, and have frequent discussions during class. Act like you're really interested in what you're discussing. If your professor tries to interrupt or stop you, act annoyed and motion for him/her to quiet down.
Tell your professor that you'd like to interview him/her for a writing class. Get him/her to tell you his/her life story. Act interested, and write down everything he/she says. Fabricate a few romantic interludes and turn your efforts into a trashy romance novel. Make copies for the entire class, and your professor. Demand extra credit.
Wait for your professor to mention a date, and then yell out, "Bingo!" Apologize, and explain that you got confused.
When you have to write a paper, get it done early and mail it to your professor's house. From then on, don't hand anything in, and blame it on the sluggishness of the U.S. Postal Service.
When your professor gives you a syllabus, take it home, correct it, give it a grade, and return it to the professor. Demand extra credit.
Wrap yourself in bandages and come to class in a wheelchair. Throughout class, cry a lot and moan things like, "Why me?" and "Please kill me!" Get up during class, like your going to miraculously start walking. Instead, fall down, cry out in pain, and wait for someone to help you back up. When class is over say, "I feel better now," leap up, and run home.
Write down everything that your professor says, word for word. Think up a melody, and turn the words into a song. Bring a guitar to class and perform the song for the class. Explain to your professor that he/she is "very inspiring."
Write your professor a note that says, "I'm going to be about 15 minutes late. Go ahead and start without me." Wait outside the building until the time when class is supposed to begin. Tie the note to a rock, and throw it through the window.

Is There a Santa Claus?

As a result of an overwhelming lack of requests, and with research help from that renowned scientific journal SPY magazine (January, 1990) - I am pleased to present the annual scientific inquiry into Santa Claus.
1) No known species of reindeer can fly. BUT there are 300,000 species of living organisms yet to be classified, and while most of these are insects and germs, this does not COMPLETELY rule out flying reindeer which only Santa has ever seen.
2) There are 2 billion children (persons under 18) in the world. BUT since Santa doesn't (appear) to handle the Muslim, Hindu, Jewish and Buddhist children, that reduces the workload to 15% of the total - 378 million according to Population Reference Bureau. At an average (census) rate of 3.5 children per household, that's 91.8 million homes. One presumes there's at least one good child in each.
3) Santa has 31 hours of Christmas to work with, thanks to the different time zones and the rotation of the earth, assuming he travels east to west (which seems logical). This works out to 822.6 visits per second. This is to say that for each Christian household with good children, Santa has 1/1000th of a second to park, hop out of the sleigh, jump down the chimney, fill the stockings, distribute the remaining presents under the tree, eat whatever snacks have been left, get back up the chimney, get back into the sleigh and move on to the next house. Assuming that each of these 91.8 million stops are evenly distributed around the earth (which, of course, we know to be false but for the purposes of our calculations we will accept), we are now talking about .78 miles per household, a total trip of 75-1/2 million miles, not counting stops to do what most of us must do at least once every 31 hours, plus feeding and etc.
This means that Santa's sleigh is moving at 650 miles per second, 3,000 times the speed of sound. For purposes of comparison, the fastest manmade vehicle on earth, the Ulysses space probe, moves at a poky 27.4 miles per second - a conventional reindeer can run, tops, 15 miles per hour.
4) The payload on the sleigh adds another interesting element. Assuming that each child gets nothing more than a medium-sized lego set (2 pounds), the sleigh is carrying 321,300 tons, not counting Santa, who is invariably described as overweight. On land, conventional reindeer can pull no more than 300 pounds. Even granting that "flying reindeer" (see point #1) could pull TEN TIMES the normal ammount, we cannot do the job with eight, or even nine. We need 214,200 reindeer. This increases the payload - not even counting the weight of the sleigh - to 353,430 tons. Again, for comparison - this is four times the weight of the Queen Elizabeth.
5) 353,000 tons traveling at 650 miles per second creates enormous air resistance - this will heat the reindeer up in the same fashion as spacecrafts re-entering the earth's atmosphere. The lead pair of reindeer will absorb 14.3 QUINTILLION joules of energy. Per second. Each. In short, they will burst into flame almost instantaneously, exposing the reindeer behind them, and create deafening sonic booms in their wake. The entire reindeer team will be vaporized within 4.26 thousandths of a second. Santa, meanwhile, will be subjected to centrifugal forces 17,500.06 times greater than gravity. A 250-pound Santa (which seems ludicrously slim) would be pinned to the back of his sleigh by 4,315,015 pounds of force.
In conclusion - If Santa ever DID deliver presents on Christmas Eve, he's dead now.

The fact that it's the holidays has only just sunk in.....!!!
My mum has gone to Bloem and will only be back after I've left for my camp.... I'm going on the Orange River on saterday and sadly ive already packed > > > only cos i hate last minute packing and im relly nervous bout not having all my stuff!!!

okay, nobody laugh...
ive been bored this long weekend so i sat down and drew
its a random shy random curled up character who is random and shy and *ahem* based on my nickname given to me by WolfRat............ SquirrelMonkey

and sadly i had to give her a name..... and sadly it was.... Kiki
Lani told me that it means monkey in some language! And she calls me it all the time!!
grrrrrrrrrr... but yay!
